"We have a clear conscience"

UEFA Champions League, Group F, Match 6. Sporting - Dinamo 3:0.

Dynamo’s Serbian veteran have surprisingly improved his play in last two appearances for his club and have reminded of himself from his best days in Dynamo. But, hardly anything depends on just one person in game like football is.

- I think that the first goal we conceeded from the penalty spot had key influence on sequece of following events – Goran says. After the break we tried very hard to equalize the score, but the ball didn’t „want to cross the line“.

Dynamo’s head coach told on the press conference after the game that his players can not do better than they did, that this was theirs limit. Do you think the same?

- Those players that ran onto the field played fighting football, they were constantly maintaining pressure on opponents’ players. We have a clear conscience. Do not forget we still have 15 players injured. Today’s squad were consisted of players that could stand on their feet.

Can you summarize Dynamo’s European campaign in which they didn’t won a single point?

- We wanted to finish group stage in the best possible way, but we failed in it. I think we should now make full analysis which can produce some important conclusions.

Why don’t you change the game system?

- As I have already said: half of the players that currently play have just recently recovered from injuries, while half of the whole team are still injured. The situation has to be looked over realisticly and then come to the conclusions. And if my words woul mean something, I would like to express my gratitude to my teammates who worked out this very hard part of the season. We hadn’t only failures, I remember some good matches – against Shakhtar, for isntance.

Do you agree that radical changes are necessary?

- I am not the person who should answer this question. All of us want to play.

Is there a future for this Dynamo’s team?

- Sure we have. The most important thing now is, however, that we rest and relax well in order to be fresh and ready for the second part of the season.
